Club Vice President, Frank Hibberd who gave great service to Longparish Cricket over many years has sadly passed away.  Frank undertook numerous roles at Longparish Cricket club, scoring for both the 1st XI, 2nd XI and indoor sides for many years and also for Longparish Colts teams when they took to the field at Trojans almost a decade ago. A keen supporter of all the Longparish sides, Frank served extensively on the Longparish General Committee . He wrote, produced and delivered two hundred editions of the LCC Newsletter and combined with Ken Ball to provide weekly match reports for the local papers.  He was instrumental in the formation of the Hundred Club, that has raised vital  funds for the club over many years and he also represented the club at innumerable Hampshire Cricket League meetings.
Frank and his family made an enormous contribution to life at Longparish Cricket Club, both during times of great success and also through leaner times, and the fact that the club remains today and continues to thrive is due in no small part to their efforts.
