The Longparish Lappas lifted the Dummer Division 3 title following play off victories over Oakley and Andover based Portway Pirates.

In the opening match Matthew Jackman starred with the bat with an unbeaten 55 as Longparish set Oakley a target of 130 for victory, a target they failed to reach by 19 runs as William Jackman took two wickets and Ollie Coetzee and Barry Blackmore bowled superbly economical spells.

In the winner takes all tie with Portway Pirates Longparish put together a flawless batting display as all the Jackman's hit runs, William 35, Matthew 42 and Justin 30 as Longparish posted 157 from their 12 overs.  The Pirates found the Longparish bowling a little hard to handle as Ollie Coetzee again bowled superbly and Barry Blackmore took 4 for 30 including two sharp stumpings by Dan Pomroy to dismiss Portway Pirates 47 runs short and secure promotion to Division 2.
