Justin Jackman wins County coaching award

Longparish CC Colts Co-ordinator Justin Jackman has won the Sky Sports ECB Coach Association's 2012 coach of the year award for Hampshire. Jackman, pictured with Longparish colts, was one of the founders of the current Longparish Colts organisation 8 years ago and an ECB level 2 coach. He has been instrumental in its success that has seen the number of junior members increase year on year along with the number of teams fielded in outdoor and indoor cricket. During this period the Longaprish Colts have enjoyed League and Cup success and gained a reputation for playing the game with a smile on their face, several have played representative cricket and attended county trials. The award which is a tribute to the hard work that Jackman and his team of coaches have put in over the years will be presented at the Ageas bowl (Rose bowl) during the one day international between England and South Africa
