Dear all,

I hope you’re all enjoying this fantastic weather which, if for nothing else, has been great for the amount of cricket we’ve been able to play this season.

The reason for this email is to announce that from the next AGM in March 2019, I will be stepping down as Chairman. I have been on the Committee since 2007 and Chairman since 2011and during this time, I believe, the Club has continued to move forward both with its membership and the facilities we have at the ground.

I feel that it is now time for others to bring renewed enthusiasm to this role and drive the Club forward. It is with this in mind that the Committee is looking for a new Chairman and ideally a Vice Chairman.

By making this announcement now, it will give the chance for the new Chairman to come and find out what the role entails and understand about the running of the Club before taking the helm in March.
