Match report Longparish batted first aginst a Steep side one place below them in County Div 3 and scored slowly on a tricky surface. Adam Lister, Ross Stewart, William de Cani and Les Martinez all made twenty odd before dismissal but Longparish were indebted to substantial lower order runs from Chris Clarke who hit 54 from not many balls and a huge six from Tim Oram to post a competitive 211 at the close. Steep were fortunate not to olose wickets early in the innings as Brad Aldridge and Chris Clarke beat the bat on several occassions. D Knight was run out for 43 and wickets were shared out amongst all of the Longparish attack as Steep fell short of the target by 22 runs.
