Longparish  were crowned champions of the top division in the Winchester & District indoor league following a convincing win over Hursley Park who won the toss and elected to bat. Early wickets fell to some superb bowling by Ben Gardner and Barry Blackmore who finished with 3 for 16 including the key wicket of Hursley skipper Oli Green to a superb catch by Matt Jackman.as Hursley Park were dismissed for 102 in the final over. The Longparish reply got off to a great start as skipper William de Cani retired on 25 in the fourth over. Ben Gardner was unbeaten on 17 and Alex Coetzee biffed a six to finish on 31 and secure the title for Longparish.
