Cake sale a resounding success raises £280 for Longparish Cricket Club

The Longparish Cricket club cake sale on Stockbridge High Street was a resounding success that raised £280 for Longparish Cricket Club Funds. 

A stunning array of cakes were arranged outside Robinson's butchers on Stockbridge high street, Neil Bonathan's chocolate crispy cakes a particular highight that, once deemed fit for sale, attracted a record price for a Hampshire crispy cake.

By 2pm the stock cupboard was bare.

Thanks to all who baked cakes and helped out on the day, to Julie Taplin and Carol Aldridge for organising and to Robinsons's butchers for providing the pitch.
